Criticism

The Microsoft Zune just came out here in the United States in November 14, 2006. There have been many reviews of this product and some have been good and some not so good. Here is what a few of them have said. Many people have criticized the Zune because they have compared it to the iPod. Other have said that the DRM and the market’s potential responses say that the Zune may be the beginning of the end for DRM as a business tactic.

Others have said that because Zune is a Microsoft is not compatible with the players and online music stores. Another complaint is that it does not work with Windows Vista. But the second version of the Zune called the 1.2 Version did fix that problem so the criticism ended up being a good review instead. Another complaint was that with the Wi-Fi abilities can only really connect to other Zune players and can’t connect with wireless internet.

There are even some short films preloaded into the Zune, they are A New York Skateboarding Minute by 5boro, Kranked –Progression by Radical Films and TGRTV The North Face. There are even images for wallpaper. These images that are preloaded are 12 classic rock posters, 8 pictures of Records and DJ’s and (pictures of Records.
